About this event:
A stylistically unique country roots band from day one, the members of Saluda Shoals have been singing, performing, and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers. Saluda Shoals began in the spring of 2015 as an acoustic project between Henri Gates (Southwood) and Cassie Verhaeghe (Brushfires). The duo began writing music and performing nightly, quickly making a name for themselves. In 2016 they recruited some of Charleston’s best musicians and the full band was born. With over 250 shows in 2016 alone, Saluda Shoals have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a multitude of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while writing and recording new music.
